Pre-recorded Subtitling For programmes produced in advance of transmission, CSI’s pre-recorded subtitling service offers excellent quality and great value. From VHS or video file, CSI staff prepare subtitles in accordance with the UK's Subtitling Code and any client style guides. The dialogue is transcribed and split into subtitles. The titles are then edited to the correct reading speeds, timed, coloured and positioned on screen. The finished product – the subtitling file – is then transferred to the client for transmission. Subtitle files can be delivered via e-mail, ftp or by embedding the subtitles on tape, into line 335 of the programme to be transmitted. |
